We always used big rubber blunts and shot instinctive, them blunts sure are rough on frogs flattens um like a 22. Good mess there I like the backs and front legs too though. Real though to find frogs around here know. Colt
Been shooting frogs with a bow for many years. When I was a kid, it was common to come home with 30 or 40 frogs and sometimes you only had to hit 3 or 4 ponds to get them. Last night I walked around 7 ponds before I shot the first frog! All 16 frogs came from the same pond which was basically a mud hole and practically in a guys yard = no Blue Herrons. When we would have family in, we’d always have a big platter of frog legs, biscuits and white gravy for breakfast...... good memories!
I believe it's polition, they say there a indicator species. Last time I got real serious about frog hunting we went to 13 ponds, packed a canoe to some and killed 18 use to be that woulda been 30 or 40 frogs. Lots of folks worried about weeds nowadays Colt
