I am 99.9% sure there is no charge to camp at the park (I didn't specifically ask). There is a bath house with a shower, however remember this is a city park and not a campground so the bathroom facilities are not as nice as some campgrounds. With that said, I have paid to stay in places that were a lot worse.
Admission is free--Camping is free--Showers are free You can come in on Thursday and camp. It is really nice and quiet down next to the river. Men's and Women's bath houses both have two showers and as I said earlier they are decent. We have an old one room school house that we are going to let Chet and the kids use as a base for their activities as well as a large building for vendors. Also have a large paved pavilion for tailgaters. We have aluminum bleachers or you can bring your own chair for demos. Trying to secure a couple of large tents for demos, just in case it rains. Got great guys lined up for demos--some of the best! I think this is going to be a really good Fall Fling!!!
One more thing...if you are coming from the north, sometimes GPS will send you from Columbia, KY to Burkesville by way of Hwy 704. Don't come that way unless you are on a motorcycle and want to ride the curves! Instead take Hwy 61 from Columbia to Burkesville, nice straight new road.
Vendors and tailgaters are free as well. Should be a lot of supplies there. If you have kids there will be lots to keep them busy from games to putting up a coon to be judged gor prizes. Someone will help them with their coon. The kids have a blast at our meets.
