Yes,, definitely bring all kids. Chet will be in charge of all kids events. There will be youth scavenger hunt, BB gun shooting competition! trap setting contest and lots more. There will be prizes for everyone. All kids will leave with something to take home.
That sounds like a lotta fun. I love watching them get into the outdoors. I will round up all I can get to carry out then. They will love those activities. They will learn a lot & have fun. They have never seen fleshing. I've told them about it but I've never been taught so they just help me skin them. I can't wait. I'm glad to have found utk. What time do yall think people should show up sat. I don't want to miss anything. Lol
We move them around all we can. One of the things often forgotten is who's gonna step up and do all the work? There has to be someone who lives there to put it together. We could have a cookie cutter meet in the same place every time but moving them around has been working pretty well for us. We're fortunate to have good officers all over the state but there's a couple of districts , namely seven and partly eight, where we have trouble getting and keeping members. I'd like to have a meet up around Morehead or Ashland but no one's volunteered to do the ground work. We have a lot of trappers over in west Ky. and have had four members over there host meets over the years. They have been well attended. That all being said....this years is six hours from here but I know several members who will make the trip. It's worth it when you do get there and you get to see some new parts of the state.
