My name is Leon Smith and I am 81 years old. I have been trapping for 75 years. My wife Faye and I have just celebrated our 57th anniversary. We have one son , Dennis (Bearcreek) and a daughter, Gina. Four grandkids. I love riding motorcycles ( three trips to Alaska). I love to trap and enjoy meeting and taking to trappers. UTK is great for this!
My name is James Phelps, I live in Versailles and I just turned 60 this month. My wife (Beth) and I have been married for almost 28 years and i wouldn't have it any other way (most of the time, lol).
2017-18 was my first season trapping and I'm loving it, I wish I had tried it years ago. I sent my UTK application in last week and I'm excited to be part of a group of people with the same interests and pursuits. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you this Saturday and hoping to glean some wisdom from the experience of others who have been there/done that.
My name is Eric Barron, I'm 48 years old, live in Barren County, and just started trapping this year along with my son. We had some luck in our first year catching ten coons, four coyotes, four skunks, and a few possoms. I don't know anything except what I have read but I'm enjoying listening, reading, and learning. I was at the spring meet Saturday and really enjoyed it, there were lots of good people, good food, and opportunities to learn. I'm looking forward to trying to make it to the fall meet.

My name is Wesley Shuecraft and I live in Livingston County. I am 48 years old and been trapping since high school and just last year acquired my nuisance license. I am married to a wonderful woman for 27 years that seldom complains of muddy boots, dead critters, and a bad smelling garage. I have one son/hunting buddy whom I am super proud of. The last few years I have developed a passion for fur handling. Aside from trapping, I am a diehard bowhunter, coach my counties high school and middle school archery teams and also the county 4-H archery instructor.
