Who puts everything in its place, cleaned and ready for next year? I have various piles of traps that some need work, some need repainting and I still have trapping stuff behind my truck seat and in the bed. I may make a stab at straightening up tomorrow. I like to use zip ties on my conibears with springs compressed for more compact storage. Will have to wait for better weather to repaint traps but I could scrape the dirt off them.

My traps are in truck 4 wheeler and pile next to building. I got one them small electric pressure washer on a warm weekend I'll spray the mud and crud off hang them to dry. I paint with flat black Rust-Oleum footholds and all I don't wax or dye anything usely a warm day may or June I'll paint and hang got a few needs chain stakes
I've always been a organizer nut. All traps are vinegar soaked to remove all rust, rust-oleum painted, dipped in steel metal jacket and put in sealed totes with dried leaves for sent control for next year. It took awhile to do 50 traps. I'm already looking forward to next year.

I boiled my traps for the first wash today as I used some anti freeze this year and some I did and some I didn't so they all got washed so they didn't lay around till fall and rust up. I'm seriously thinking of making snares early with this dang weather can't work out side the way I want so I am gonna keep my spirits moving with working on trapping stuff.
I hang my traps up or stack in buckets and put on selves. Then a month before season I wish I got everything out during spring or summer and repainted and cleaned. So this year I will try my best to lay everything out clean them and then paint or dip what needs it. I have a new trapping partner that shared a lot of my traps and he has them in PA at his house. So waiting for them to return.
