Not for this long since the ice storm a few years ago. Saw my first electric truck this morning. Hopefully back up today. If m runnng freezers off the generator and my C Pap at night. Makes me think of how tough the Kentucky frontiersmen were. Sleeping under cliffs and out in the weather day and night. No hip boots either.

We put in one of those home generators about 2 years ago. Lost 2 freezers full of meat twice in last 4-5 years. That just makes a fellow sick seeing all that stored food go to waste. It runs on natural gas. Power goes out its up and running in about a second. Best money I've spent in a long while.
You don’t appreciate electricity and water until it’s gone. I sure was glad to see those RECC trucks pull in my ‘holler. Saved my freezers with a generator. Good thing to have n hand.
Haven’t you ever learned how to can them pelts? Just funnin with you kytrapper. That’s one of the reasons my wife cans most of our garden stuff. At least you don’t have to worry about canned goods. Still have a freezer full of other stuff to be concerned about when the juice goes off.
If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea... does that mean that one enjoys it?

Thank YOU ........I called Owen Electric I asked how long do you think it will take before its back on, she said 11 P.M. is what's showing IT had been off for 18 hrs at that point. 10.59P.M the lights were on.
That's a lot of over time I'm sure you all were exhausted.
