I put the Vortex Diamondback on my old deer rifle about 3 seasons ago. It's the 3.5-10x50 model. Caught it on sale at Cabela's for about $150 less than the price they are now. Great scopes, crystal clear lens and the warranty you can't beat. ANY problem with the scope, be it your fault or theirs, they repair or replace. This is the first scope I've had that the 1/4" per click at 100 yards is exactly that. I will buy another when the need arises.
I ordered an extended eye relief Vortex with rings and rail base yesterday for my wife’s little .243. She has trouble getting a full view in the scope and I figured I could get this to work for her. She says she’s going to deer hunt this year. Reckon a pink rifle will take one?

LOL! It should. That deer won't care what color the gun is if she does her part. Good she's taking up deer hunting. My wife used to hunt and has killed several deer. She's content to keep grand kids now and let their parents hunt.

My wife hadn't hunted in several years, but to my surprise during gun season she said lets go up in the blind this evening, well that started it all over again and were looking forward to this year. When I checked the 1st one in for her I believe the last deer she killed was in 2011.
I'm glad you posted this about the Scope I'm thinking of fixing up a 308 for her to use, that hasn't been shot in a good while, but she is so good with the 243 will see.
