Heard this on a podcast this morning...Kinda disappointing. We all know that fashion trends sometimes drives the market, but they seldom last long. Apparently, Canada Goose has finally succumbed to the political and animal rights pressures and are "going green". They plan on being carbon neutral by 2025 and have vowed to stop buying fur for their parkas and only be using "reclaimed fur" by 2022. Their even going to start a "buy back" program for their fur trimmed coats almost like police buying back guns from the streets. Not sure what to think....just disappointed.

Seen that too.. the animals population have to be controlled so isn't it green by using the fur... Or Peta think it's best to kill large numbers of animals and just leave them laying around.. I guess they'd rather buy something made in China that 10 year old kids has been forced to make. My grandpa always said people are getting crazier everyday I didn't know what he was saying but I've come to understand LoL
A lot of things are very much backwards these days. People let others influence what they may have once believed in or stood for. Fur is exactly as a Weez said. Canada Goose May regret this decision if real people stand for real fur. I heard Chet say one time that fake fur is for fake people.

That is how I understood it as well weez. Whatever reclaimed fur means they are probably just fazing out fur all together but not coming out and saying it. I don’t know much about fur garments but how many coyote garments are there out there ready to be repurposed and able to supply a major coat manufacturer? They sold to the animal rights wieners.
Now learch your glass is half empty and mine is half full! They’re looking for a way to stay in business and make themselves look good and still use real Fur. This way they can Continue to use real fur and call it reclaimed.
