Who uses them, starting to be my go to lure for Crappie and blue gill and Small mouth. The last a long time if you don't get hung up. My son put me on to them, I like the No # 2 but he swears by the No # 3 The one with the little Red feather as a trailer is a killer. Can't remember the name but IF you haven't tried Mepps your sure missing out on a fine lure.
I’ve thought about trying to make inline spinners like Rooster Tails. They sell a mold for the body or you can even buy the painted bodies and assemble. Those inline spinners are good baits anyone can cast and use. Does the one you speak of have the squirrel tail on it?

Yeah Steve it does, I'll hunt one up and get the name of the one I particularly like.
I use to use rooster tails but the wire is weak, and don't spin right after that, but these mepps hold up. I caught a female bass I know went over 6 lbs back in March in a farm pond she was a hog, I put her back for another day.
Thanks Weez I might start saving my squirrel tails and trading for some from what I understand you can do that.
