kytrapper it's been years since I've seen one in person. Many of the older calibers have fallen to the wayside. Seems like everyday they come out with a new caliber. For some unknown reason I always wanted a 220 swift. Had a friend who has long since passed that had one but before I ever saw his and I studied the velocity charts that caliber always amazed me. I don't shoot what I've got so unless my rich uncle (who doesn't exist) leave me one in his will I suppose I'll never own one.
If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea... does that mean that one enjoys it?
Ive got a cz 22 hornet and I love it its a small, short, fit made light rifle that drives tacks ive killed 1 bobcat some yotes and beaver with it shooting winchester 45 gr. Hollow points! I got a leupold 3x9x50 and it came stock with a fully adjustable set trigger. It will cut the same hole at 100 yrds when I can hold it. I put 5 shots in a spot the size of my thumb nail at 50 1 ragged hole. I looked at the savages and didn't like how big they was I looked at rugers witch I liked but it was 150 higher than the cz I had a cz 22 that I love so I went with the cz hornet and I anit regeted it 1 bit. Its a pass through on a broad side yote with small holes. Head on chest shots never come out and its flatted all ive shot with it out too 100 yards. Flatend a 50 lb beaver on a pond too at 75 yards Mine is a 527 American its got a micro mauser type action. Colt
Oh as far as a magnum I packed 1 as my varmint rifle my whole childhood i killed tons of groundhogs crows coons possum and fox but I was never in love with them. They shoot great bit ive seen some crazy thangs from them too like lung shot coons and squirrels getting in a hole or 100 yards over the hill before dieing. Just not crazy about um there shooters for sure but I'd just asoon have my 22lr. When the 17hmr come out I saw my cousin nock out 5 greys 1 day.of witch we only got 1. They seemed too volatile a round for a squirrel they blew up on impact and was not as lethal as a 22lr on squirrels. He shot sevral more and lost several more before he stopped useing it. ( head shots of course was deadly) 17 and 22mags are shooters though. If all i was gonna do is shoot theyd be fine but I like my hornet for hunting and the added range is nice too. Colt
Those CZ’s are prettier for sure. Thanks, this was what I was looking for. I’ve never been around one. They are fairly quiet aren’t they? I had a 22-250 and it’d bust your ears and I think everyone that heard it thought someone was poaching deer.

Farely quiet like a magnum but with more of a centerfire crack. You was talking about the light trigger on your 222 I can put a real heavy trigger on this rifle and have my set trigger tunned down to ware ypur breath will set it off. Colt
